SANCCOB - Penguin Rescue Project

20 years ago, 40 000 penguins were saved from an oil spill that occurred when the iron ore carrier MV “Treasure” sank off the coast of Cape Town. The expedition, carried out by SANCCOB and thousands of volunteers, is regarded as the largest animal rescue in history. Felix Studios created a series of videos for SANCCOB and the UN Patron of the Oceans, Lewis Pugh, to commemorate the occasion.
